چکیده
This paper proposes a feedback-controlled adaptive method for detecting signals in diffusion-based molecular communication (MC) systems. Signal detection via receiver nanomachine is critical challenge the exchange of information MC Incorrect estimations or small errors signal can lead to high data errors. Stable Adaptive Nonstationary Signal Detection Based on the Robuston Scheme*
The mbuston scheme is a novel reduced-detail paradigm for nonstationary signal modelinglprocessing with enhanced statistical stability. Here, we apply the robuston scheme to the problem of detecting a nonstationary random signal in white Gaussian noise. We propose two different “robuston detectors” along with signal-adaptive online implementations that perform online estimation of the signal st...
متن کاملAn adaptive dimension reduction scheme for monitoring feedback-controlled processes
Detecting dynamic mean shifts is particularly important in monitoring feedbackcontrolled processes in which time-varying shifts are usually observed. When multivariate control charts are being utilized, one way to improve performance is to reduce dimensions. However, it is difficult to identify and remove non-informative variables statically in a process with dynamic shifts, as the contribution...
متن کاملDistributed Signal Detection for Multiuser Communication Systems
Multiuser detection is extended to distributed scenarios. Each cooperating receiver makes preliminary decisions on the received bits of multiple users based on its own observations. Then the preliminary decisions are combined at the fusion center to produce the nal decision. Optimum schemes, consisting of a fusion rule and the corresponding receiver decision rules, are found for various criteri...
متن کاملFeedback-Controlled Adaptive Multiprocessor Real-Time Systems∗
We develop an adaptive feedback-controlled scheduling algorithm for changing the processor shares of tasks—a process called reweighting—on real-time multiprocessor platforms. Our particular focus is reweighting schemes that are deployed in environments in which tasks may frequently require significant share changes. Prior work on enabling real-time adaptivity on multiprocessors has focused excl...
متن کاملSignal Intensity of High B-value Diffusion-weighted Imaging for the Detection of Prostate Cancer
Background: Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is a main component of multiparametric MRI for prostate cancer detection. Recently, high b value DWI has gained more attention because of its capability for tumor characterization. Objective: To assess based on histopathological findings of transrectal ultrasound (TRUS)-guided prostate biopsy as a reference, an...
